I am really excited to be starting COETAIL 12! I heard about COETAIL through a colleague last year and I have been regularly checking the Twitter feed to find out when the sign up began. I am from the UK but I am currently teaching in China at Hangzhou International School. As a Fourth Grade teacher, I was a little shocked at how uncomfortable my students were with using technology so one of my personal goals is to provide as much exposure as possible and put the students in control of how they show their learning. I am excited to learn from my cohort and community as I learn and grow over the next two years.
I am extremely excited to get started with the COETAIL 12! I am a sixth-year international teacher, currently live in Lagos, Nigeria. I’m teaching second grade. I have always used technology in the classroom but I am always looking for opportunities to keep growing. I stumbled upon COETAIL and reached out to a former colleague to learn more about it. I’m hooked! I can’t wait to continue growing as an educator.
Hello! Happy to join this community from the International School, Ho Chi Minh City!
Hello, everyone! I’m teaching high school ELA right now at the American School of Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia. The Peace Corps is what brought me here about 8 years ago, met my husband, and I’ve been teaching here ever since. I was looking for an innovative PD community that gets me excited again about teaching and what I can bring to the classroom. I also want this to help launch my next move out of Mongolia in 2021-2022.
Hello from Russia! I love learning, and I am very excited to have an opportunity to collaborate with teachers and educators around the world. I am teaching Russian in Elementary School. I believe that it is essential to incorporate technology into the WL classroom.
